Welcome to the Naaron project! If you like complex fantasy worlds with different creatures, mystery, love and very queer characters, you're in the right place!
This project is still at its early stage, and everything you read here might change in the future. This project will take a mixed form of text, images, animations and music, a fully immersive experience. (Please note that Naaron touches some serious subjects. You can find a TW list here, and we recommend not reading if you're under 16.)
The whole project is made by one person and their friends:

Finn, the main creator of the project! I'm a queer, trans and disabled being, and have been working on this project for years, and it's finally happening! I truly hope you will love it!
Thalya, my best friend, also very queer, and amazing at developing games and similar things! She made the interactive map in The world, and even a digital font for the alphabet used on Naaron.

What's new?
The website is in construction at the moment, but you will have access to the latest chapters and news here!
• The first chapter is starting! New pages will soon appear, but enjoy the first six already!
• The interactive map is now active! You can check it out in The world

Welcome to Naaron, a planet in a galaxy far, far away.

(In construction)

Oops! There's nothing here yet.Wait a little and it might become available!

Here, you can find little introductions to everyone that worked on Naaron!

Finn

• 21 • He/him • Main creator - Artist •
Hi! I'm Finn! I'm the main creator of Naaron.
This project started with a simple drawing of a random OC, and I started creating her friends, lovers, and more, until Naaron became a thing!
I am disabled (autism, ADHD, hEDS, BPD and DID), and use a cane, crutches or a wheelchair depending on the day. Disability makes my life harder, but it also means i get to experience life stronger, and Naaron does a very good job helping me, being both a special interest and a gateway from ableism and pain.

Thalya

• 21 • She/They • Developer - Helper •
I'm Thalya, i make games and sometimes i sink one or two lifetimes into random stuff like making a font from scratch because why not.
You can find me on Itch.io!

A planet, in a galaxy far, far away.
On this planet reside many creatures: dema, elfa, witches and all sorts of monsters. Their rules are far from what us humans know, as there is no such animal in this world.
This is where our story takes place, and here is where it begins.
Welcome to Naaron.

There are different nations on this planet, all full of different people.
Demas live in Keah, Elfas live in Zlares, and Witches travel the world after studying in Vawell.
They all gain magical abilities during puberty, that they can then learn to control and use. Demas and Elfas form their magic in their eyes, whereas Witches have to learn to form it from their fingers.
That is, if their development before and during puberty is healthy.
Now let's zoom in a bit.

Our main character lives in Zlares.
In Zlares, there are many beliefs and rituals that people do to learn how to use their magical abilities and gain better control over them. The first one is to change a simple boulder into gold.
But what happens if it doesn't transform? Does that mean the Elfa is defective?
Well, most of them think that way.
Now zoom in even more, and let's meet our girl.

This is Thalys, a simple small village in Zlares surrounded by mountains. With less than 50 residents, it's easy to know everyone growing up here. They're not the most spiritual tribe of Zlares, but still do the basic Elfa rituals. They have everything a small Elfa community would need: fields, a lake, flowers, gemstones and lots of rocks and sand to build with.
Their houses, much like every house in Zlares, are called Blobos . They're built with cement made of sand, stones and water, making them very durable. As Elfas can store their magic in stones, they use natural citrine crystals on top of tubular shapes attached to their ceilings to catch sunlight, improve it, and to use it at night. Their circular windows are often made of simple see through quartz, although some Zlares tribes use homemade glass, other crystals, or simply leave them empty.

This creature here, with her hair flowing in the wind, is named Amy. Amy was born 10 years ago in Thalys, and lived here ever since. Her parents tried to do everything to raise her right, as a true Elfa, although she has Dema blood in her internal irrigation system.
Unfortunately, as we can see, Amy turned out quite a bit different from her peers.
Yes, I'm talking about the red spots , hair and eye.

See, usually, Elfas don't have red spots on their skin or their hair, but childhood development can have great impacts on a person, if not healthy.
If during their childhood or puberty, their development gets... "compromised", it will have irreversible life-long effects on the kid. The biggest and most noticeable effects are:
- Change in the melanin of the skin, creating patches of color on the skin, hair, eyes and even internal organs in some cases.
- Unability to develop any magical abilities.
- Mental illnesses or problems such as anxiety, persistent sadness, depression, paranoia, and more.
But, even with these added issues, kids could live fine with the help and comprehension they need.
Their biggest trouble with having a "failed" development, is how their tribe treats them. They become a defect. People will ignore them, insult them, make sure no kids are around them as to not make more defects, and even their parents will probably stop caring for them.
As a defect, unable to produce magic, they're almost sure to fail to their traditional duties and rituals, which will then result to their whole family being rejected from their tribe, leading to some parents sometimes using last resort solutions to avoid being rejected, such as eliminating their children.
